Electric vehicle charging stations, and the incentives offered for them, provide a new opportunity for vendors to promote and increase their business. The American Lung Association has ranked 3 regions in Utah among the worst air quality regions in the nation. Tailpipe emissions from cars, trucks, and trains make the largest contribution to pollution within the state. Making electric cars a realistic possibility can help reduce and even eliminate the pollution contributed by tailpipe emissions. This course will provide an overview of the current trends and increasing adoption of EV technology as well as explain the various incentives available through local utilities.
